Entry Eight - Progressing on 3D Printing

I have been diligently working on improving my 3D printing skills. I have also been asked to help at the 3D printing lab at my high school - I maintain the printers, help students with their projects, install new printers, decommission old ones, and try to troubleshoot machines that are acting up. Now that I am much better at design and controlling the print parameters, I decided to fabricate a chess set from poly actic acid (PLA) where each piece is a NASA spacecraft. Below is three pieces successfully printed from the set.

3D printed chess pieces inspired by NASA spacecraft. Material: PLA.
